I have dark skin, is Laser Hair Removal suitable for me?

At KLYNIK we are able to treat all skin types for laser hair removal. As we use The Quanta Thunder MT laser which has 2 gold standard lasers in 1 device. It has the Alexandrite laser which mainly targets the hair colour and is usually best for light skin tones and the Nd:YAG laser which mainly targets the roots of the hair and is best for dark skin tones.

At your consultation the laser therapist will be able to establish your skin type and choose the best type of laser for you. The benefits of having your treatment at KLYNIK is that we are able to combine 2 of the Gold standard lasers together which is ideal for all skin types but most importantly it's great for Asian or dark skin types. Which other clinics are not able to acheive great hair reduction due to the wrong type of lasers being used to treat their clients. They won't tell you this, they will 'try' to reduce your hair but it will take between 12 - 20 sessions on other devices. Most clinics either have an Alexandrite or a Diode laser. Which target the hair but is not good on it's own to use on Asian or dark skin as the chance of having a contraindication due to the dark skin colour. An Nd:YAG laser is more suitable for Asian to dark skin. At KLYNIK we have both of the best lasers. We combine both at the same time to acheive much better results than our competitors.
